Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bring back the tube. I'm not sure the repercussions of replacing the beloved roll was fully thought out. There's a tactile element to the hockey-puck-shaped sweets that isn't much like the feel of the little fruit-shaped ones. Most people I've talked to (I'm a fruit gum addict and boring conversationalist) agree. Possibly just to get rid of me, but. Please bring back the roll. The recycling argument doesn't quite make sense in this case.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from bring back the tasty small round gums I've enjoyed the gums in tubes all my life, eat a few every day. The ones in the packets are soft and don't taste good. I won't be buying them. If packaging is the genuine reason you discontinued the tubes, I don't see why you can't just put the old-style round sweets into plastic packets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Distribution of colours/flavours I would like to first of all say how much I love your fruit gums. I do prefer the rolls of them, but you now distribute the new ‘bag’ and they are cheaper so all the better. However, I do have a complaint about the distribution of colours/flavours that is to be found in the rolls and bags. I have completed my own survey and found the following. Out of 7 bags containing around 20 sweets. 64 are black currant 27 are strawberry Now the BEST flavours 19 are lemon 13 are orange 12 are lime Some bags only had 2 of the last 3 flavours. (Which I was most upset to find!). As I love the bottom 3 flavours the most I am sure you can see the vast difference between the numbers of flavours inside the pkts. There are very few shops were I live in the southern most section of Hampshire, so after I have trudged around finding a shop (as there are so few shops selling them now!) I am often times disappointed about the combination of flavours. if the distribution of sweets could be a little more even I would be happier, as I have to eat the strawberry and black currant ones first, so I can savour the others afterwards. I know you use an automated system, but perhaps it needs a tweak or two?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Tubes I understand the recycling argument on the tube packaging. Why not put the tube sweets into the bags. That way we can still enjoy our favourite version of fruit gums.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Where are the rolls?! I loved the rolls. My favorite sweet in the whole wide world. Where have these gone? Will I survive without them?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Same flavor but missing something. As much as I love the flavor--in particular of black currant--of these sweets the phase out of the round style sweets has brought things down a few notches for me. When I accidentally discovered these in the import section of Wegman's some years ago I was enamored. There was no fruit candy I enjoyed more. I had to do some online orders because my local store eventually discontinued them, and it was only more recently I realized they weren't being made anymore. I still buy the fruit pieces, I still enjoy them. But even if the recipe overall remains the same, the texture of that firm fruity candy just isn't the same. The kind of sweet you can choose to draw on slowly or satisfyingly work slowly with your mouth is no more. I didn't think that round shape mattered at first, but repeat tests with the fruit shapes keeps proving me wrong. Hope they come back someday.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the same anymore. RIP Round Tube Fruit Gums I used get fruit gums a few times a week but recently they stopped stocking the round tube fruit gums in the shops. I tried the bags but they don't taste the same for some reason although I'm sure Nestle say its the same ingredients.
