Rated 3 out of 5 by from Tubes I understand the recycling argument on the tube packaging. Why not put the tube sweets into the bags. That way we can still enjoy our favourite version of fruit gums.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Where are the rolls?! I loved the rolls. My favorite sweet in the whole wide world. Where have these gone? Will I survive without them?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Same flavor but missing something. As much as I love the flavor--in particular of black currant--of these sweets the phase out of the round style sweets has brought things down a few notches for me. When I accidentally discovered these in the import section of Wegman's some years ago I was enamored. There was no fruit candy I enjoyed more. I had to do some online orders because my local store eventually discontinued them, and it was only more recently I realized they weren't being made anymore. I still buy the fruit pieces, I still enjoy them. But even if the recipe overall remains the same, the texture of that firm fruity candy just isn't the same. The kind of sweet you can choose to draw on slowly or satisfyingly work slowly with your mouth is no more. I didn't think that round shape mattered at first, but repeat tests with the fruit shapes keeps proving me wrong. Hope they come back someday.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the same anymore. RIP Round Tube Fruit Gums I used get fruit gums a few times a week but recently they stopped stocking the round tube fruit gums in the shops. I tried the bags but they don't taste the same for some reason although I'm sure Nestle say its the same ingredients.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Changed ingredients ...not the same I used to love these fruit gums. Now they use gelatin and glucose syrup and not the fruit juices anymore. Before they were natural, now no more. It's sad they changed their ingredients. I can't eat them anymore.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Taste good the first few seconds They will stick to your teeth if you chew them quickly. Otherwise the first few seconds it taste pretty good but then the flavor transforms to medical taste and will leave an after taste. This product seems like a healthy alternative to fruit gushers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Have Rowntree stopped manufacturing these tubes? Like many others, I'm addicted to fruit gums sold in tubes. I find those sold in bags too hard. The consistency, recipe and shape of the ones in the tubes are superior IMO. However, I'm struggling to buy tubes. My local One Stop is selling small 'fun size' bags advertised as 'now in bags' but these are simply those from the larger family bags in a smaller bag. Are Rowntree simplifying their manufacturing lines? Cost cutting? Covid-19 related?
